Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-06-12 Publisher: Domenico Capogreco Jurisdiction: Italy
These Terms of Use govern the use of Seeker RSS (the "App"), an Android RSS reader published by Domenico Capogreco ("Publisher", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
§ 1

Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you are under the age required by applicable law to agree to these Terms on your own, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

§ 2

What the App Does

Seeker RSS is an RSS reading application that helps users:

  • subscribe to RSS or site feeds;
  • search for feed sources by keyword;
  • import and export OPML files;
  • organize and read articles;
  • optionally connect compatible third-party or self-hosted RSS services such as Fever, Google Reader compatible services, and FreshRSS; and
  • optionally enable notifications for new unread articles.

The App is a reading and organization tool. It is not a financial service, exchange, broker, medical device, healthcare service, gambling product, or legal advice service.

§ 3

License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or internal lawful purposes on devices you control.

You may not:

  • use the App in violation of applicable law;
  • reverse engineer or interfere with the App except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • use the App to distribute malware, harmful code, deceptive content, or unlawful content;
  • use the App to infringe another person's intellectual property or privacy rights;
  • misrepresent your identity, affiliations, or the source of content you publish or distribute through connected services.
§ 4

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

  • access, process, or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or otherwise prohibited content;
  • circumvent security protections or interfere with networks, devices, feeds, services, or APIs;
  • submit or process content in a way that violates the terms of a third-party feed provider or synced service;
  • collect data from minors without any consent required by applicable law; or
  • use the App for any activity prohibited by Solana Mobile publisher policies or other applicable platform rules.
§ 5

Third-Party Services and Content

The App may connect to third-party websites, RSS feeds, feed discovery services, hosting providers, and self-hosted or commercial RSS backends. Those services are not operated by us unless expressly stated.

You are solely responsible for:

  • choosing which feeds or third-party services to connect to;
  • complying with the terms, licenses, and privacy policies of those third parties; and
  • evaluating the safety, legality, authenticity, and accuracy of third-party content.

We do not own or control third-party feeds or third-party synced services and do not guarantee their availability, quality, legality, or security.

§ 6

Accounts and Credentials

The App can be used in a local-only mode and can also support optional third-party or self-hosted account connections. If you connect an external service, you are responsible for:

  • providing accurate credentials and connection settings;
  • keeping your credentials confidential;
  • ensuring you are authorized to access the connected service; and
  • deleting or changing credentials if your device or account security may have been compromised.

You may delete an account from within the App. Deleting an account from the App deletes the App's local association and locally stored data tied to that account, but it does not automatically delete your account with the third-party service provider.

§ 7

Feed Search and Network Requests

If you use feed search, your keyword query may be sent to a third-party feed discovery service in order to return results. If you add feeds or sync accounts, the App will contact the relevant feed or service endpoints over the network.

By using those features, you instruct the App to make those requests on your behalf.

§ 8

No User-Generated Community Features

The App does not provide a built-in public social feed, user review board, or community posting feature. If you use the App to access content hosted elsewhere, responsibility for that content remains with the applicable content source or service provider, except to the extent required by law.

§ 9

Intellectual Property

The App, excluding third-party open source components and third-party content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain rights in content you lawfully own. Third-party feeds, logos, trademarks, and article content remain the property of their respective owners.

§ 10

Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by the Seeker RSS Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully before using the App.

§ 11

Open Source Notice

The App includes or is based in part on open source software. Use of certain components may also be subject to the applicable open source licenses provided with the App or its source materials.

§ 12

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and security.

We do not warrant that:

  • the App will be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • any feed, article, or external service will remain available;
  • third-party content will be accurate, complete, or lawful; or
  • the App will be compatible with every device, backend, or network environment.
§ 13

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, business, goodwill, digital assets, or opportunities arising out of or related to the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App and these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the App in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

§ 14

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Publisher from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • your misuse of the App;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of applicable law; or
  • your infringement of third-party rights.
§ 15

Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App or related distribution channels, to the extent permitted by law, if we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law or platform requirements;
  • prevent abuse, fraud, or security harm; or
  • address content or conduct that violates these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and deleting locally stored data and accounts from the App.

§ 16

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where reasonably practicable, make the revised Terms available through the App, an associated website, repository, or store listing.

§ 17

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, excluding conflict-of-laws principles. Where mandatory law does not require otherwise, the courts having jurisdiction in Italy shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the App.
